Top ideas to help keep your dog cool this summer!

Fruity freeze

A fruit filled treat for your dog to enjoy!

Ingredients

1 x Banana

1 x small handful of blueberries

1 x spoon of natural yoghurt.

Method

  1. Mash or blend the banana, blueberries and yoghurt together in a bowl.
  2. Fill the stuff chew with the paste.
  3. Place in the freezer and serve to your dog when frozen.

Top tip

Don’t give this to your dog in a carpeted area in case it gets messy!

Pumpkin pop

A healthy veggie treat to tantilise your dog’s taste buds!


Ingredients

1 x pumpkin (pureed)

1 x spoon of tahini paste (or peanut butter)

Method

  1. Mix together the pureed pumpkin or sweet potato and tahini into a paste.
  2. Fill the stuff chew.
  3. Place the filled stuff chew in the freezer and serve to your dog when frozen.
     

Top tips

  • Switch the pumpkin for sweet potato – it works just as well and gives a different taste for your dog to enjoy.
  • Don’t give this to your dog in a carpeted area in case it gets messy!

Iced tuna

A fishy treat for your dog to enjoy!

Ingredients

1 x tin of tuna (in water, not in brine or oil)

1 x spoon of cream cheese

Method

  1. Mix together wix a fork until a creamy consistency.
  2. Put the filled stuff chew in the freezer and serve to your dog when frozen.

Top tip

Don’t give this to your dog in a carpeted area as it can be rather smelly!
